We can’t believe you are only 18! Not only does it feel like you grew up in the industry but you have already been so successful. What was it like building your career while also simply growing up?
It was a lot honestly I can’t even lie, growing up and learning basic life skills while also managing the skills I needed for entertainment was stressful but in the end it has been definitely worth it.
You started your career as an actor, featured in numerous films and TV shows like. What is your favorite part about acting and do you hope to act more in the future? Any special highlights you want to share?
My favorite part about acting is being able
to captivate something or someone that’s different from my own day to day self. Being able to break my shell and become a whole new person is a really challenging and fun thing to do. One of my favorite roles I’ve played was definitely Scott on Total Eclipse because I got to enhance my personality and take the positivity up a LOT.
You took fans on a wild journey breaking into the music industry in 2019 with your single, “His Girl.” What was it like jumping into music when your fans mostly knew you from acting and social media? Do you prefer music over acting?
From the beginning I’ve always seen music as the main and end goal. Doing social media has been amazing and obviously I will continue to do it, but music just warms my heart like no other. There’s no me without my music.
We love that! And we are obsessed with your new song “Bus Ride Away” that just came out on June 5th. What was the inspiration or meaning behind the song for you?
"Bus Ride Away" is by far my favorite song I’ve released. In less than 3 weeks it’s gotten over 200,000 streams and it’s insane honestly. The song is about the realization that someone isn’t giving you the same love you’re giving them.
Check out the music video below!
You were recently named one of the hottest independent artists in the world by musicbusinessworldwide.com. What does it feel like to make such an honorable list?
It’s insane to make such an honorable list as one of the hottest independent artists and I’m just glad people are loving and vibing with my music :)
Of course, we can’t help bringing up your modeling career; the camera LOVES you! You have already modeled for multiple successful brands like Sean John. Any brands you would like to shoot for in the future?
In the future I would love to model for Dior, Valentino, and Dolce & Gabanna!
We have no doubt you will one day soon! Other than your own of course, what songs are on repeat for you right now?
My songs on repeat right now are “Mariposa” by Peach Tree Rascals, good guys by “LANY”, & “ok” by wallows.
What can you tell us about what’s next for you? Any new projects coming soon?
I am very excited for my upcoming EP, and I’m even more excited for my new singles to come before that release. As well as some cool modeling campaigns I’ve done, and a lot of collabs!
