With all of the craziness of the holidays & the ample pop culture happenings of the past few days, we decided it was time for another Pop Culture Catch-Up! Here is what has been going on lately in the world of pop culture:
1. A pregnant Kylie Jenner is still in hiding.
Kylie Jenner, recently found to be pregnant by boyfriend Travis Scott, did not even appear in the family Christmas card! That is some serious commitment. However, sources from People Magazine say that the makeup mogul did make an appearance at the annual Kardashian Family Christmas Eve Party, but did not draw any attention to her or her baby bump. Maybe she's not even pregnant?
2. Only a few months after her return to the r&b music scene, Cassie released a new single.
"Don't Play It Safe" dropped on December 21st; the second single from her (hopefully) upcoming album. In our opinion, it is a bit better than her previous single, "Love a Loser." It is definitely worth a listen!
3. LuAnn de Lesseps arrested in Palm Beach.
Yikes! Real Housewives of New York star, LuAnn de Lesseps, was arrested in Florida after assaulting a cop during a drunken rampage! Sources at Fox say she was allowed to return to NYC until her next court date in late January. In a statement taken by E!, she explains:
"This was my first time in Palm Beach since my wedding, and being here brought up long-buried emotions. I want to offer my sincere apologies to anyone I might have offended with my behavior. I am committed to a transformative and hopeful 2018."
4. Solange Knowles reveals Autonomic Disorder diagnosis.
Solange has canceled her New Year's Eve performance at Afro Punk after revealing on Instagram that she has an autonomic disorder. Check out her emotional post above.
5. Rihanna named top style influencer of 2017 by Lyst.
Lyst has named their list for the Top Style Influencers of 2017 and Rihanna rang in at #1! No surprise here. But who was named #2? Selena Gomez, of course! Scroll through the slideshow below for some of our favorite looks.
