Rob Kardashian Denied Primary Custody of Daughter, Dream

Updated: Dec 7, 2020

After an already lengthy legal battle, Rob Kardashian was denied primary custody of daughter, Dream Kardashian, whom he currently shares custody with ex, Blac Chyna.

The Blast reported the news late Thursday. Kardashian has yet to comment.

Blac Chyna's lawyer spoke out promptly on the matter explaining, "Chyna will not back down from Rob and his family's attempt to take away her agreed-upon custody of Dream. She will continue to take all necessary steps to protect her children, including defeating Rob's and his family's latest attempt to undermine Chyna's joy as a mother to Dream and her ability to make a living as a single mother - without any child support from Rob."

The fight for Rob to have primary custody began in January after he accused Chyna of substance abuse and neglect towards their daughter. He partitioned for Chyna to only be able to visit with their daughter on weekends, with a nanny present, and only after passing a mandatory drug test before each and every visit.

For a while, it seemed as though Rob & Chyna were getting along and co-parenting to the best of their ability; celebrating multiple holidays and birthdays together with Dream. However, when Rob filed for primary custody, he stated in his filing that Chyna threw multiple parties in the house while Dream was present, abused drugs and alcohol as well as got into many altercations.

According to E! News, a source close to the family said, "There have been many times where Dream has been picked up from Chyna's house and has been upset about what went on during her stay. He got very angry and upset when hearing about Chyna's alleged behavior around Dream and wants Dream to primarily stay at his house or be in the hands of his family/sisters. He would never want to take Dream away from her mother but wants Chyna to get help for whatever she may be dealing with personally."

All of the Kardashian family supports Rob's decision. Khloe Kardashian filed a declaration backing up her brother's allegations.
