KB's Back to School Playlist!

Sadly, the summer is coming to an end and college life awaits. However, if you do college the right way, your time is balanced between fun, parties, studying (ugh), and hanging out with friends! To celebrate the return back to your "home sweet dorm/apartment", we made a Spotify list including some of the artists below & more!

1. For What It's Worth by Liam Gallagher

This should be a top 20 hit for sure! This song, by Oasis (who sings Wonderwall) front-man is a classic, somber rock song that you will have on repeat whether you're chillin' with your friends in your dorm or doing homework.

2. That Girl by Christina Taylor

A rising country music star, Taylor has two singles off of her EP getting major attention, with over 300,000 spins on each! Her songs have been featured on Radio Disney Country, CMT, and "New Boots" Spotify playlist. She is definitely one to watch and perfect for a dorm-room jam session!

3. Build the Beat by The Shadowboxers

This song is perfect if you need a pre-party spirit lifting! Their sound is fused with elements of jazz, pop, and soul for a feel good sound. Fun Fact: They were discovered by Justin Timberlake and signed to his artist development label. 'Build the Beat' has 2.5+ million streams on Spotify and you definitely get some JT vibes!

4. Dopamine by Daphne Willis

Daphne Willis is a singer/songwriter on-the-rise! If she keeps releasing songs like this, you will definitely be hearing more about her. This sexy summer song is all about finding a high through love and passion - something we could all use a little bit of during college!

5. Creatures of the Night by Hardwell & Austin Mahone

Following his success of "Lady" ft. Pitbull off of his newest album, pop star Austin Mahone released this dance pop hit with Hardwell. This single is perfect to play at your dorm party or a saturday night with friends!

6. Without You by Mary Sarah

Mary Sarah is a Season 10 vet of NBC's The Voice placing in the top 6! Her voice is incredible and unique and I swear, you will fall in love with this song and her! If you love this song, don't worry, she is working on new music already.

7. Baby It's You by Haley Reinhart

The lead single off of her 3rd album, "What's That Sound?" is this iconic cover of The Shirelles hit. Following the success of her 'Can't Help Falling in Love' cover, Reinhart shows her sassy, pop-rock side with this upbeat track! This song is perfect to listen to if you find your soulmate at college (even if they don't know it!).

8. One Time by Cherish

What was once four sisters who spawned the hits, "Unappreciated," "Killa," and "Do it To it" are making a comeback in a big way, but two members short. The two youngest Cherish sisters decided to revive the hit girl group and bring back that good 2000's R&B music and we couldn't be happier! This sexy single is just one of three singles released in the last year by Cherish. Perfect for pre-game party or post-game romance.

9. Life Goes On by Fergie

Fergie returns post-MILF $$ with an uplifting but chill pop song. This single, from her second solo album rumored to be coming soon, is perfect to listen to sitting outside on the lawn doing homework or for therapy for those letting go of their summer loves!

10. Take Me by Aly & AJ

The ultimate Disney pop duo returns with a more grown up sound! This song, just recently released, is their first single in 10 years - Wow, I feel old.

This electronic pop, feel-good tune is perfect for a much needed pick-me-up or a night out!
