Mason McNulty Gets Vulnerable With New Single “Someone”

Actor and recording artist Mason McNulty is entering a new chapter with his latest single, “Someone,” out now.

The emotional track explores McNulty’s desire to find that special person while reflecting on the lessons he has learned from past relationships. At its heart, “Someone” is about longing for a meaningful connection and promising to be better when the right person comes along.
“I have learned from past relationships and the promise that I will be better this time,” McNulty says. “Just wanting to love that special ‘Someone.’”
McNulty co-wrote the song with songstress Agina, while acclaimed producer Kevin Gruft (KThrash) handled production. The track was recorded at Gruft’s studio in Los Angeles.
“Someone” marks McNulty’s fourth music release, following “Lessons of Love,” “Dust,” and “Sinner Like Me.” As he continues building his music career, McNulty says hearing from fans who have connected with his experiences is one of his biggest inspirations.
“What inspires me to write my music is everyone who tells me that I have helped with what I have gone through,” he says.
His message with the new single is simple: don't settle just for the sake of being with someone.

“Always keep your chin up, learn lessons every day and never settle for just anyone,” McNulty says. “Wait for the right person.”
The new single kicks off a busy few months for McNulty. He has another song scheduled for release on October 30, while his upcoming film Billy the Kid: Blood and Legend is set to premiere in January 2027.
With “Someone,” McNulty continues turning personal experiences into music while encouraging listeners to learn from the past and remain open to finding the right connection.
“Someone” is available now on major streaming platforms.
