Kendall Jenner is facing backlash following her epic birthday party on Halloween.
The model and reality star turned 25 on November 3rd but celebrated her birthday on Saturday evening. Jenner hosted a party at the 1 Hotel in West Hollywood. Stars in attendance included the Biebers, The Weeknd, and of course the entire Kardashian-Jenner clan.
However, not everyone was happy following the star's 25th birthday celebration.
Many took to social media to share their outrage, stating that the star was not following CDC guidelines during the COVID-19 pandemic. Early Instagram and Snapchat videos showed a crowded venue, with no mask-wearing in sight. Miley Cyrus even unfollowed Jenner and other celebrities in attendance on Instagram.
Following the party, Kendall remained quiet. However, the momager, Kris Jenner, stepped in to provide some clarity, which may have left fans and onlookers more mad than before...
"We're dealing with lots of people that have different opinions and all we can do is live our lives the best way we know how and be responsible and do the right thing," Kris stated in a question proposed by Andy Cohen. She continued by explaining that guests were rapid-tested upon entry into the venue. Invitees were not allowed to enter until their COVID-19 test came back negative.
This left fans and onlookers alike feeling conflicted. On one hand, the party was safe for everyone in attendance. However, people are wondering why are ALL of those rapid tests going to the rich and famous for a party, while people across the country who are sick and in need can't get a test.
