Stars Flee their Homes after Massive Wildfire Spreads

On Friday morning Lady Gaga shared via Instagram that she escaped a massive wildfire that was closing in on her Malibu home, similar to many Southern California residents. The 14,000 acre fire in Malibu, Calabasas and Agoura areas has lead to multiple casualties and left thousands of people fearing for their lives and homes.

In a video the “Born This Way” singer posted online, she is seen packing her belongings as the relentless smoke hovered over her property. The pop singer updated fans in another video, then a photo with the caption, “Sending my prayers to everyone today.”

The cause of inferno, which invaded many homes is unknown.

Gaga was not the only celebrity who escaped the wildfire. Big stars like Will Smith, Orlando Bloom, Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, and many others ran to safety.

Once in a safe location, Gaga wrote on Twitter, “I am thinking so deeply for everyone who is suffering today from these abominable fires & grieving the loss of their homes or loved ones. I’m sitting here with many of you wondering if my home will burst into flames. All we can do is pray together & for each other. God Bless You.”

The fashionista then adds in a separate message, “Thank you to the fire fighters, police, first and emergency responders for doing above and beyond everything you can do to help us. You are true heroes.”

Thankfully, Lady Gaga made it out of harms way in time and the situation didn’t end worse.

Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone involved.
